Three rising sophomores who recently mastered everything your child is learning. We don’t teach answers. We build thinkers.
For Parents
We understand what parents need: a tutor their child connects with, results they can see, and a price that makes sense.
Most tutors learned these subjects years ago. We mastered them recently — which means we remember exactly what confused us and when it clicked. That memory is our greatest tool.
Kids open up to people close to their age. Our students don’t feel judged or intimidated. That comfort leads to questions, and questions lead to real learning.
5s on state exams. Above a 5 on Math 1 EOC. 95+ in AP World History. 5s in science. We don’t just teach these subjects — we’ve excelled in them.
Every session is one-on-one or small group, tailored to exactly what your child needs that week. Not a generic curriculum built for the average student.
We teach the “why” before the “how.” Students who understand concepts can reason through anything on the spot — no cramming required.
Every student leaves with homework built around their specific gaps. Not generic worksheets — practice designed for your child.
We change how students see themselves as learners. Kids leave our sessions feeling capable, and that confidence carries into every class.
We’re not retired teachers or college grads. We’re rising sophomores who took these exact tests, sat in these exact classes, and remember every moment it felt impossible before it clicked.
Industry tutors charge $25–$80 per hour. We charge as little as $7.50 per session. Same subject matter expertise. A fraction of the price — because great tutoring shouldn’t be a luxury.

Our Story
We’re three rising sophomores who started Aldwell because we kept watching younger students memorize formulas they didn’t understand and convince themselves they just weren’t smart.
We knew that wasn’t true — because we’d been there. We scored 5s on major state exams, above a 5 on Math 1 EOC, 95+ in AP World History, and 5s throughout science. We’re currently in AP Precalculus and advanced classes.
What makes us different is recency. We mastered these subjects recently. We remember when fractions clicked, when the history timeline made sense, when the formula stopped being a mystery.
“Every confused student we’ve met wasn’t struggling because they weren’t smart. They were struggling because no one had found the right way to explain it yet.”
— The Aldwell Founders
The Team
Three rising sophomores who believe every student deserves a mentor who still remembers what it felt like to learn.
Co-Founder · Rising Sophomore
Detail-oriented and methodical. Breaks complex problems into clear steps and believes every student can excel when material is explained with precision.
Co-Founder · Rising Sophomore
Patient and perceptive. Finds the exact moment a student loses the thread and reframes the concept until it lands — clearly, memorably, permanently.
Co-Founder · Rising Sophomore
Energetic and encouraging. Turns student frustration into momentum with a natural ability to connect and make difficult material feel approachable.
What We Teach
Tap any subject to see what we cover, how we teach it, and which grades it’s for.
Number sense, fractions, decimals, and early algebra taught so deeply students never need to re-learn the foundation. We build genuine understanding of why arithmetic works before touching procedures.
Grades K–7Comprehension, fluency, essay structure, and expressive writing tailored to the student’s current level. Clarity of thought as much as clarity of prose.
Grades K–7We all scored above 95 in AP World History. We teach history as a story of causes and consequences — not a list of dates. Students learn to analyze events and build strong arguments.
Grades 5–7 & AP Prep5s throughout our science coursework. We teach underlying principles behind biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics so students can tackle questions they’ve never seen before.
Grades 3–7We walk through reasoning step by step until the student can replicate it independently. The goal is always that they leave able to do it themselves next time.
Grades K–7Active recall, time management, and pre-exam routines that reduce anxiety and raise scores. The exact methods that helped us excel on state exams and AP tests.
Grades 3–7For students who’ve been told they’re “just not a math person.” We rebuild the belief alongside the skill — because belief is always the first thing that needs to change.

Kind Words
My daughter went from dreading math to looking forward to her sessions with Akaash. After three weeks, her quiz grades jumped noticeably. The price is almost unbelievably reasonable.
Nissim has a gift for finding exactly where my son gets confused and explaining it a completely different way until it clicks. He can now work through problems he’s never seen before.
Ishaan’s energy is incredible. My daughter was so discouraged with school and now she actually looks forward to studying. Best decision we made for her this year.

Industry tutors charge $25–$80/hour. We charge a fraction of that because the quality of help your child gets shouldn’t depend on what your family can afford.
“The price is almost unbelievably reasonable for the quality of instruction. Akaash explained fractions in a way my daughter had never heard before — and it finally stuck.”
